So it’s become somewhat of a request to share my Miis on Tomodachi Life. As I wrote before, Tomodachi Life is a Nintendo 3DS game where you can construct a bunch of Miis to live in a little island town. A Mii is basically a little miniature version of a person. When you get a Wii, or Wii U, or 3DS you create a Mii that allegedly looks like you, or represents you.

So, I made my Mii, pretty neat. But, then I got Tomodachi Life. In Tomodachi Life you make more Miis to represent people in your island town. The idea is that you make Miis that have some significance to you, like celebrities, or relatives. I made relatives (mostly). Most everyone I know is in there, and some that I don’t know anymore (I think I’ll make a Nicky Mii in memory of my medication nurse that left). First, we’ll start off with me, KadarMan:

As you can see, I got the glasses, and the beard, just like me in real life.  Do you like my stylish acid-washed jeans and hipster hat?  Don’t worry those glasses actually have lenses, I’m not that much of a hipster.  But, as Maus put it once, Asher was hipster before it was hip to be hipster… so that makes him the ultimate hipster of all time.  Nah, I don’t want to be a hipster.  But I do like my hat.  I noticed sometimes I smile with the right side of my mouth, and even though I made it left, I thought my lips would reflect that.  A little smirk… for being a hipster.

My favorite Mii though, and the one I’ve spent the most money on in the game, is Ninja:

This Mii is fashioned after my older brother Ninja.  He was the second Mii I made for the game.  He’s got a doctorate so he gets to be “Doctor Ian”.  If you’ve ever seen Ninja, you’ll see that it’s a pretty good likeness, including the goatee thing.  Ninja is one of my favorite relatives, over time we’ve grown closer.  He knows all sorts of things about electronics and circuits, and together someday we’ll Make something as little Makers.  But, I gotta read dah books you know?  I gotta read Introduction to Microcontroller Programming with the MSP430.  I keep getting distracted, this time by REST web services for my payment service for my new URL shortening site.

Then we move on to my nephews, the offspring of Ninja and J-Lo.  First up is Cartoys:

This is the older of the two nephews I have on the Ninja side of the family.  He’s kind of a funny kid, I’ve written about him before.  He was the nephew who had some minor behavioral problems because of his diet.  But once they eliminated milk and gluten, it was like day and night.  When I was super super anxious and depressed it was really hard for me to be around him because he was so loud and active. But now, not only am I feeling better with almost no anxiety at all, he’s mellowed out, so it’s good all over.  I actually rode up to my childhood home this last week for Thanksgiving with Ninja and Cartoys and such to visit Mom.

Speaking of Mom:

This is classic Mom, otherwise known as the Enlightener.  However, Enlightener is already taken by Captain and Maus’ voice teacher, so we’ll just call her Mom. As you can see she’s really into her instruments.  It’s kind of funny really because Mom really likes to go vacationing down in Mexico.  She goes with several other women who are her friends (obviously).  In fact, they are sisters, one of which used to be my employer twelve years ago when I was an insurance agent.  That’s right, I was an insurance agent… weird random fact about me.  Anyways, so here, her clothes and instrument match her Mexican inclinations.  Personally, I’m partial to the ponytails.  How well did I capture Mom?

But back on the subject of nephews, here’s T-Bone, Cartoys’ little brother:

T-Bone looks a lot more like Ninja than Cartoys.  He’s SOOO cute!  I love little T-Bone, he’s such a sweetie.  Every time I’ve been over there he’s just a happy little person.  For quite a while he kinda rambled on a little incoherently and unfortunately in the hustle and bustle of group activity he was a little ignored.  But he never minded that, he just went along being a little sweetie.  I remember I went over there with Maus one time and he pulled out a chair and said, “You can sit here, this chair is just for you!”  I’m trying to remember if he was in a stroller the day I went to Laketown with my Willy suit as a bit of a snub to the county’s finest.  He probably doesn’t remember.  Either way, it’ll be interesting to see him grow, he’s such a different person than Cartoys.

Well, that’s enough for Part 1.  Later, I’ll have the other residents.  In the mean time, my Nintendo Network ID is asherwolfstein and my 3DS friend code is 3969-6701-4929 Be neat to make some new friends on my game machine.
