Sunday I Fell Asleep

I slept until 12:30 this morning/afternoon.  I’m really trying to wake up at 8:30 everyday.  It’s the damn couch.  I get onto the couch in the middle of the night, like four in the morning, and then the gravitational pull weighs me down.  I’ve even been late getting my daily medication from the halfway house because I was stuck on the couch.  So, I decided I would stop laying on the couch at four in the morning.  It seems more comfortable but it’s more trouble than it’s worth.  In a weird counter-intuitive way I think getting up earlier than 8:30 might actually be better.  Often I wake up at 7:30 all ready to go, but then I think, “Well, I don’t have to be awake for another hour…” so I go back to sleep, starting my sleep cycle all over again.

When I started working from home, and not at StarBucks all day, I was afraid something like this would happen.  The whole reason I go to the halfway house in the morning to get my medication is so that I can wake up in the morning and stay awake!  I can’t let the medication pick up become obsolete, I mean, what’s the point?  If I’m going to just sleep more, I might as well get my medication from home.

Then of course, I don’t make breakfast, I barely eat.  I miss out on good hours I could be working.

So, Maus and I sat down and we made a schedule for one day.  Just one day.  Not a week, just one day, Monday, so we could see if we could accomplish it.  I think this is a good idea.

In other news, I’m seeing my therapist tomorrow.  She’s probably going to put me on medication only now.  I’m doing so much better ever since I moved to Fort Collins.  So much better in fact, I may not need a full time therapist anymore.  That’s good news!

I think having a schedule will be good.  We can study Japanese, work on the game, play video games, just generally have more fucking time!

It’s about time!
