Pokémon GO Round Up 17
Pokémon GO has been a bit of an experience. I know that the chance for certain Pokémon to appear in certain places is high or low. I know that I won’t necessarily catch all the Pokémon sticking to my regular paths, but at the same time that makes the different Pokémon that much more special. Fortunately, I go to different areas sometimes, however lately I haven’t been able to get to too many new places these days, but hopefully I can get to walking more around Old Town. You’ll know I live in a very populated area, so I run into all sorts of things.

Oh boy, the weather has definitely gotten much warmer, and for whatever reason, the Pokémon are hopping! I swear, the times I’ve gone out and walked around different parts of Old Town that I haven’t necessarily explored fully yet (those near or on the other side of the train tracks), there are little beasts everywhere! I like to employ lucky eggs and gain experience faster, so you’ll see that quite a bit in a lot of my screenshots. I actually achieved a few new milestones including a new level this week:
I actually achieved some new medals. I acquired a medal for 200 bug type pokémon, 50 psychic type pokémon, 50 fire type, and 50 fighting type:
I also got to hatch quite a few pokémon.
I have under my collection now a Caterpie, Cubone, an Igglybuff (this was quite a find), a Nidoran, a Slowpoke, a Magmar (this was a particularly long egg, and it paid off!), and last but definitely not least a Smoochum, which I think is the cutest. He looks like a South American red-headed stepchild that you just wanna love!
I was finally, after transferring quite a few of my Cubone’s to the Professor for further study and safe keeping, to evolve my Cubone! I didn’t know what a Cubone evolved into, and I almost waited until Maus could see it to, but I decided I couldn’t wait and decided to evolve the little bugger into… a Marowak!
I obtained quite a few new Pokémon to my arsenal. Their details are found in the other galleries, but the following pokémon got added to my pokédex since last update. I was most pleased with the Magmar, though I think the Smoochum and the Shuckle are tied for cuteness. The Voltorb definitely surprised me, I didn’t know that pokémon existed. Maus told me over text, “Congratulations, you caught an orb.” Captain was like, “Yes, Voltorb is a thing.”
Here is the round up of Pokémon I have this time (these are the ones with the best combat points, or ones I’ve shown so far but not their details). I didn’t catch ALL of them, a at least one was evolved:
So that was Pokémon GO in a nutshell this week (or about). What kind of Pokémon have you caught? All sorts of neat things are happening with the gyms and raid battles, but I haven’t gotten into them… yet. We’ll see, maybe when I get to level 30 we’ll talk.
Gotta catch ’em all! (After all my nickname is Ash!)
