What’s Wrong With Trigger Warnings?

Challenging ourselves, and resolving emotional issues on a personal level from a personal level is key to our own physical and mental health. This has been scientifically shown time and again. Life without conflict, without challenge, won’t allow any of us to grow and expand in understanding, but rather keep us as small infants incapable of expressing ourselves outside of crying. We owe it to ourselves to strive to be larger than we already are.

I came across this material as I was reading my latest Seth book by Jane Roberts, and it inspired me to compose and make the previous post about Positive Individualism. I felt that some of the material was applicable to the current political situation in America. I thought I would share some of it here with you.

Positive Individualism

So I state, let the Objerktivists preach to the choir, and let Positive Individualists form their own forums and their own groups apart from the Negative Individualists. To have their own voice apart from those who encase themselves in prejudice, belittling, clear falsehoods, bad thinking, and negativity. I’m hoping this website can become one of those forums and online spaces for people who are interested in truth, intellectual honesty, and the expansion of themselves as people and consciousnesses.

Book Review: Status Anxiety

There are no exercises in this book, nor step by step instructions on how to “get over” our anxieties, but instead a fairly clear dissection of Western society over the ages in regards to status.

What Is Philosophy?

Philosophy was one of those subjects that you learned about on your own, apart from school.  It was a place where I could shoot ideas out into it and see where they go, no textbook, no teacher.  I probably drove my brother crazy with all my, often hare brained, ideas and beliefs.
