I actually tried powering up a pokémon, this time it was Raticate. I haven’t really been doing anything particularly special for my Pokémon. Just collecting what I can and give them back to Professor. Eventually I do want to get enough experience, candy, stardust, and combat points to conquer the local gym on the corner.
I actually have pitched multiple game ideas to Maus that involved walking around and using the GPS to collect and interact with monsters. My latest incarnation didn’t put as much emphasis on going to specific locations as it did on walking long distances. So once again, much of the ideas I spouted at Maus have been put into effect. I tell the future like this quite a bit, it’s somewhat frustrating.
Actually, I usually gain a desire for anything once I start doing it. I have to make myself actually start doing something, whether I dread it or not, before I start feeling like I actually want to do it. I call it momentum. Getting there is unfortunately a lot harder than it sounds.
I told Hurricane that she had a love-child with Maus, which made my newest niece make a funny face. It was funny. I told her that their child Audrey looked like a little old lady, but more fascinating was that I set her to travel abroad across and out to other DS systems in other Tomodachi islands. Their legacy lives on!
It’s still winter in Kadaria, but the fruit still grows on the trees. The (second-to-) last time I visited there were a lot of dead flowers. More than usual, but I don’t expect much when the temperature outside is -20 degrees. That’s how cold it was in Handyville, so I imagined it was the same in Kadaria.
Well, today Ninja and me went out for a cup of coffee and some cheesecake. How do I know it’s cheesecake? ‘Cause it’s me! I like hanging out with Ninja IRL, so I think I particularly like hanging out with Ninja in Chrakia too. Ninja had some interesting things to say…
My plan for the game in the long term is to create an episode focused on Him’s family home, and some of the surrounding area. This will be Episode 1 as was mentioned in the previous article. I have to put together some of Him’s personality, and the rest of his family. I’m hoping to post some character portraits in the next article, but I can’t promise anything.
I tried to see if the snowball had some kind of special significance. Like it if I rolled it a whole bunch it would split open and reveal a prize maybe? I’m not sure, I haven’t figured these snowballs out exactly, I’ll have to look online. I just tossed mine into the river and it melted.
Hurricane is my sister-in-law, and Maus is my partner. So they got married. It’s funny to me because one time Hurricane admitted to having a bad dream about marrying Maus (or something similar to that), and now, they have (virtually). That’s not the best part. I wrote earlier a tiny bit about some good news that Maus and Hurricane have to report.
So I said Part 3 was going to be about my friends and acquaintances that live on my little island town. I didn’t just include my relatives in my initial Tomodachi population, but I included people who were closer to me, and a couple people I just happened to know at the time that I was first playing the game.
